• Each work (poem or short story or stage play or novel or book) must have a title and the real name of the author. Pen names only, will not be accepted.
• More than one work (poem or short story or stage play or novel or book) may be submitted, but each one must be submitted on a separate application pack and accompanied by separate submission form, entry fee, and payment receipt.
• No alterations can be made once a work has been submitted.
• Once entered, works (poem or short story or stage play or novel or book) cannot be withdrawn.
• Entries must be the original work of the entrant.
• Entries will only be accepted when accompanied by the entry form and the payment of the submission fee.
• All entrants must be 18 years of age or over when they submit their entry to the competition.
• Entries must be submitted by the author and not on someone else’s behalf.
• Entries must be original works by individual authors (not a group, company or organization).
• Entries could be published or unpublished works.
• Odysseus Awards and Cosmocinema Awards for the International Video Poetica Competition, are not accompanied by cash prize or funding.
• Copyright of the works (poem or short story or stage play or novel or book) remains with the authors.
• However, by submitting an entry, the entrant grants a worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, exclusive and sub-licensable licence to London Greek Film Festival (or London Greek Film Festival Ltd or LGFF) and Cosmocinema Ltd (or Cosmocinema Festival or Cosmocinema), for publication for publicity and/or promotional purposes (up to 250 words for poems, up to 2000 words for short stories, up to 2500 words for theatre plays) and use of the entry on the London Greek Film Festival’s website or elsewhere in whatever medium, language, performance, broadcast or form. This licence does not preclude the author publishing the work on their own personal named website, books or personal named blog pages.
• We don't accept works in progress, just ideas, unregistered or uncompleted works.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

• Submissions must be emailed and submitted by the deadline in order to be considered.
• Submitted materials will not be returned.
• Works (poem or short story or stage play or novel) must be submitted in Greek or English language (both Greek and English versions are welcome).
• All material must be submitted in digital format via email, as follow: all texts in word .doc files or PDF files, all images in jpg format (300ppi). We DON’T ACCEPT HARD COPIES of your work.
• The entry (submission) fee is non-refundable and required at the time of submission. We accept payments online by PayPal only, via our web site.

SUBMISSION MATERIALS

• your work (poem, short story, stage play, novel, book) in word .doc file or pdf file
• the submission form and any other text (treatment etc) in word .doc file
• the signed and scanned submission form in pdf or jpg file
• any photos (if available) in .jpg file
• any other digital material (i.e. websites, blogs etc)

• Only short listed works will be presented to the public. Selection will be made by the London Greek Film Festival and Cosmocinema team, but the inclusion in our festivals and events, as well as the number, dates, times, the way and locations of the presentation will be at the sole discretion of the Festival Directors.
• You accept and agree that, selected works can be presented in the London Greek Film Festival and Cosmocinema Festival, and events organized by London Greek Film Festival and Cosmocinema, and in the web sites and social media pages, owned and administrated by of the London Greek Film Festival and Cosmocinema.
• We accept ONLY FULL COMPLETED and REGISTERED Works .
• We don't accept only ideas or brief description of works.
• We DON’T ACCEPT only hard copies of the works.
• Once a work is selected by London Greek Film Festival and Cosmocinema, the author agrees not to hold a presentation of the work, prior to the our awards ceremony video poetica event.
• Submission via email, as well as of a signed entry form constitutes acceptance of the London Greek Film Festival and Cosmocinema video poetica competition regulations. The London Greek Film Festival and Cosmocinema management, reserves the right to decide all questions not specifically provided in the regulations.
• All disputes, matters of interpretation, controversies and other issues relating to submission, the entry form or regulations shall be determined and resolved according to the laws of England and Wales.
• The festival accept applications by adults only. We don’t accept applications from individuals under 18.
• You accept and agree that the events and activities at the London Greek Film Festival and Cosmocinema, may be recorded, filmed and distribute by the organizer (London Greek Film Festival and Cosmocinema) in any medium in any part of the world, internet included.
• The London Greek Film Festival and Cosmocinema and its sponsors cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to entry materials.
• We don’t accept any other material after the submission.
• Odysseus Awards and Cosmocinema Awards, are not accompanied by cash prize or funding.
